Daniele Unisex Bag in Vegetable-Tanned Leather

Daniele is a distinctive leather bag designed for everyday use, work and travel. Measuring approximately 32 × 29 × 16 cm, it offers more space than a classic handbag while remaining compact enough for daily use.

The dark brown Italian shade “Testa di Moro”, distinctive closures and washed leather finish give Daniele its individual vintage character.

Carry by Hand or Over the Shoulder

Daniele features a leather carry handle as well as a removable and adjustable shoulder strap, allowing the bag to be carried by hand or over the shoulder.

The main compartment also closes with a zip, while two distinctive clip closures on the front define the look of the bag.

Inside, an open pocket and a separate zipped pocket provide storage for smaller personal belongings.

Vegetable-Tanned Leather

Daniele is made from vegetable-tanned cowhide leather. The tanning process uses tanning agents of plant origin, including tannins extracted from bark and roots.

This describes the specific tanning method used rather than relying on broad terms such as “eco leather”.

Washed and Hand-Waxed

A key part of Daniele's character comes from its distinctive surface treatment.

After production, the bag is washed in Italy and then left to dry. Finally, the surface is waxed by hand. This process gives the leather its particularly soft feel and characteristic lived-in vintage appearance.

Variations in colour, surface and texture are part of the character of this leather and can give each bag an individual appearance.

Daniele is made and finished in Italy by a manufacturer specialising in leather goods.

We selected the model for the manbefair collection for its functional shape, vegetable-tanned leather and distinctive Italian finish.

The characteristic washing and finishing process is also carried out in Italy.
